GENERAL RULES

1. The general parts of the Bounty Hunter's Guild Bylaws are in force on this message board. For those too lazy to click the link, the short version is as follows: Don't disobey superior officers/moderators, don't insult people on a level external to Star Wars, don't swear, no porn, no warez, do respect other people.

2. No spam. It doesn't matter how important your message is, it only goes on one board. Two is acceptable if it's a kabal activity that might be of interest to the general BHG. This doesn't preclude having seperate threads on different boards on the same topic for things like KAGs (where each kabal has different things to talk about), but advertising the same thing on multiple boards is not cool.

3. No post count competitions on kabal boards. If I continue to see the complete junk getting posted on certain boards that has been getting posted just to increase the post count and get ahead of another kabal, I'll disable viewing the total posts for each board on the index and delete said junk. Don't do it.

4. Additional to 3. above, I also don't want to see the utter rubbish that we've seen posted recently just to up post counts. There's a fine line between inanity and stupidity, and people should stay on the inanity side unless they want their posts deleted and their post counts reset.

5. No advertising of Junkyard items on the main MB (kabals are free to choose their own rules there), since the Junkyard does a pretty good job of being a classifieds board by itself.

MODERATOR RULES

1. By default, the core commission gets moderator access on the main MB, people associated with running RP events get moderator status on the boards for those events, and the chief and CRA of each kabal get access on their kabal boards. Bear in mind that you're expected to uphold the CoCs and these rules, and are expected to delete or lock topics that contravene either. If, for some reason, you find yourself unable to do so, e-mail me, and I'll remove your moderator status and find someone who will do the job.

2. While on moderation, you also should be using your powers responsibly, and not abusing them just to impress people, or stifle things you personally don't like. I do check what's been deleted and locked, and who has deleted or locked said items, so be warned. So far, that hasn't been happening, and I don't want to have to bring out the big stick, but I will if any of that stuff starts happening.

3. Not a rule, but a recommendation. Unless you're Koral or Jernai, you probably shouldn't ban anyone from a board you have moderator access on without checking with one of them first.
